2 sets of golf clubs and 2 small pieces of luggage
Medium compact (e.g. Ford Focus)
You could potentially fit a 3rd set and bag in the back with the 3rd passenger but depending on the size of the clubs and bag.

Large Standard (e.g. Opel Insignia)
Large Premium (e.g. Audi A6 or Mercedes E200)

If there is a large group travelling, then a passenger van (e.g. VW Transporter) would be the best option. These are 9 seater vehicles so they could accommodate, 4 sets of clubs, 4 pieces of luggage and 4 passengers.
You could also consider hiring two vehicles for larger groups. A Ford transit van could take multiple sets of golf clubs and luggage, and then a car or passenger van for the rest of the group.
